You gave more than 400 Alabamians newfound stability + support through our GOOD Jobs in 2021.

339 people were hired into full-time positions

90 people were hired into part-time positions

58% of new team members reported they were either

re-entering or entering the workforce for the first time in 2021.

Nathan, a team member at our Green Springs location celebrated being hired into his first-ever full-time position in 2021.

73% of our new team members were women in 2021.

 

Other Programs + Impact Areas

GOOD Works Programs

Over 7,400 digital literacy sessions were offered in 2021, completely free of charge.

We provided an estimated 1,488 hours of work-based learning and training to Alabamians with SNAP benefits.

More than 1,100 appointments were made in our Birmingham Career Center.

A total of 80 mission service clients were placed into jobs or went on to retain employment for 90 days successfully.

GOOD Futures Program

135 special needs students from Birmingham City Schools experienced work-based learning and career prep.

Over 4,860 hours of learning and experience provided to equip them to enter the workforce upon graduation.
