• GOOD Jobs

  Direct employment and upskilling is the foundation of our mission. Our GOOD Jobs are gainful employment opportunities located in our stores and donation sites that provide steady work, education, training and pay to Alabamians who may be overcoming various systemic inequities, obstacles, or personal challenges. When hired on as team members, we provide various wraparound services including Goodwill U, education and certifications, crisis management, individual development plans and more. These free and personalized resources help our neighbors not only build a work history and learn various job skills, but also help to ensure they are equipped to achieve personal goals and thrive in their communities. Ultimately these jobs serve as a launchpad to higher paying careers and steady employment.

• GOOD Works

  We are proud to provide free education, job fairs, and work-based learning experiences to Alabama's adults through our GOOD Works community services. These career development opportunities are free to our communities to help empower, educate, and upskill Alabamians overcoming various challenges. Whether our neighbors need help with resume prep, interview skills, or other skills, we are able to provide resources and training to help them into more gainful employment and help propel them into progressive roles in the workforce. Community members are encouraged to make appointments with us to identify their needs and goals, so that we can match them with the service options that are best suited for their journey. • GOOD Futures

  Part of working to build a more equitable and inclusive workforce in Alabama starts with students. Our GOOD Futures student programs provide underserved high schoolers access to unique work-based learning and curriculum to help them prepare to enter the workforce upon graduation.
