Valentine’s Day is almost here, and we’ve got some unique suggestions for how to celebrate love and friendship with others! The best part? Each of these ideas will directly benefit our mission of empowering our neighbors through employment programs and other opportunities.
Thrift store date night
This isn’t your normal date night! For a successful and fun date night to the thrift store, there are just two rules:
Set a budget. We suggest $10 to $15. Then, pick out your partner’s outfit for dinner! Will you go with something trendy, silly, or bold? Whatever you pick is what they have to wear to dinner that night.
Laugh and embrace the fun!
Thrift a romantic set up
Is a record player with some old records, string lights, and a comfy set up your vibe? Maybe it’s more of a candlelit dinner at home with unique place settings that have a story behind them. Whatever your style, our stores have you covered for far less than a big box store. (And the thoughtfulness of it all will mean a lot!)
