Our newest donation center - Lakeshore!

Alabama Goodwill Industries (AGI) is opening another donation center in the Birmingham area this week.

“The need for our job training services in our area is immense. Our growth is driven by community support and our commitment to resourcing these needs,” said President and CEO David Wells.

Located in the Lakeshore Pavilion next to Publix, the center features a donation drive through for donation drop offs. AGI will begin accepting donations on Thursday, November 18th at 7:00AM. This will be Alabama Goodwill’s 8th donation center in the Birmingham-metro area.

“We’re thrilled that our newest sites will allow both residential and commuting individuals to have a more convenient way to help our neighbors in need. Our donors and shoppers are the heartbeat of our organization,” Wells added.

AGI’s mission helps individuals enter or re-enter the workforce through job creation, free skills trainings, work-based learning, and digital literacy curriculums. The new Lakeshore donation site will operate Monday through Saturday from 7:00AM to 7:00PM, and Sundays from 9:00AM to 5:00PM.

It is located at 2852 Lakeshore Parkway, Birmingham, AL 35221.
