Meet
Anna Tomlin
Anna grew up thrifting with her mom, so shopping at Goodwill had always been something she enjoyed. When the Brook Highland store opened in January 2022, she was looking for a job, and it felt like the perfect fit — a chance to work somewhere that combined something she already loved with the opportunity to serve her community.
Anna started on the production team, and that combination gave her more than she expected. Along the way, she’s met people from all walks of life, built meaningful connections within her community, and gained a second support system that’s helped her navigate different seasons of life. At the time, she was also attending college classes, and it was the encouragement and flexibility from her team that made balancing both possible.
Today, she’s a University of Alabama at Birmingham graduate, putting her marketing degree to work as Alabama Goodwill’s newest addition to the Marketing team.
