MISSION PARTNERS
Doing More Good Together
Education opportunities made free of charge to Alabamians are imperative to our mission’s success. We often see that individuals with barriers to employment desire to learn, but often do not have the resources to do so. When you partner with us to provide free training, education and skills, you help us build a more equitable workforce in Alabama.
Some of our education partners include: Google and TRANSFRVR
If your company or organization is looking to make an environmental and human impact, please consider recurring goods donations to benefit our mission. Whether you’re closing a business, have rotating product or closeouts, please consider us as your benefitting partner.
Want to do more good together? If you’re servicing clients who could benefit from our work-based learning programs, direct employment opportunities, and more, we’d love to partner with you to help meet client needs!
Some of our referral partners include: ADRS, United Ways of Alabama
MORE WAYS TO PARTNER
Create Opportunity in Your Community
Bring your workplace, school, church, neighborhood, or community group together for a donation drive that supports Alabama Goodwill’s mission. Donation drives make it easy for groups to collect gently used items while helping fund programs, services, and employment opportunities for Alabamians facing barriers to work.
Alabama Goodwill can help coordinate the details, connect you with the nearest donation center, and make the process simple for your group.
Alabama Goodwill Career Centers are free community spaces available for organizations to host events, services, workshops, trainings, information sessions, hiring events, resource sharing, and other community-focused opportunities.
Career Centers are currently available for hosting in Huntsville and Birmingham:
Huntsville Career Center
8920 Memorial Pkwy SW, Huntsville, AL
Birmingham Career Center
2350 Green Springs Hwy S, Birmingham, AL 35205
Use the scheduler to request a date and share a few details about your event. A member of the Alabama Goodwill team will review your request and follow up with next steps.
BookWorks helps donated books find new purpose by getting them into the hands and homes of children across local communities. Volunteers play an important role in this mission by helping sort donated books, prepare them for distribution, and support reading opportunities that encourage a lifelong love of learning.
Whether you are an individual, business, school, church, or community group, volunteering with BookWorks is a meaningful way to support literacy, give back, and help Alabama Goodwill make a lasting impact beyond the donation center.
